A couple of weekends ago I had the opportunity to go on a photo walk with other Clickin’ Mom members in the Charlotte area. We had a fabulous time walking, talking, and clicking away at whatever caught our attention. The couple of hours we spent together went so fast and many of the photos that resulted were fantastic representations of uptown Charlotte. Afterwards we did have to duck into Mellow Mushroom and have a drink and some food while we kept talking.

Here are my photos from the walk! I used my Lensbaby with a Sweet 35 which means the blur in the photos is purposeful. I wanted to try something different so I only brought that lens with me. I’ve found it slows me down since it is a manual focus lens and forces me to really look at what I am shooting. I love it and was hoping it might provide a different feel to street scenes.
