Day 16 – Visual Motivators

If you want to make sure you actually run regularly, then use visual motivators.

They are a wonderful way to remind yourself of your goals, your intent and purpose.

Some visual motivators include: post it notes with your goals on your bathroom mirror.  Inspirational quotes strategically placed that motivate you to pull on those running shoes.  Carry a motivating picture with you – a picture of you in your first race, a photo of someone you know who encourages you, or even an ad from a magazine – Nike and other big companies come out with some great ones regularly.

Put those things that would remind you of your priority and purpose right in front of you so you don’t lose focus.  Keep your focus to keep going!
